Тема: Hobbies and Interеstes
Мета
Освітня:
- ознайомити учнів з новими лексичними одиницями з теми «Хобі та Інтереси»;
- формувати навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць;
- удосконалювати навички конструювання речень у теперішньому неозначеному часі (PresentSimpleTense);
Розвиваюча:
- розвивати мовну здогадку й мовленнєву реакцію учнів;
- розвивати навички читання та аудіювання;
- розвивати навчально-інформаційні та комунікативні вміння і навички;
- розвивати пам'ять, спостережливість, логічне мислення;
Виховна:
- виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань;
- виховувати зацікавленість у активних видах відпочинку;
- виховувати повагу до оточуючих.

I. Організаційна частина уроку

1.       Привітання й повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

The topic of our lesson is “Hobbies and Interests”. Today we’re going to speak about our free time and what we like to do in our spare time. All of us have a lot of work every day and when we have some free minutes we try to devote them to something we’re interested in. So what interests do we have? What are we fond of?

We will start our lesson with some famous proverbs about hobbies. Your task will be to match the beginnings with the endings and then try to give Ukrainian equivalents (Slide 3)

T: Look at pictures. There are different hobbies. Do you know them? All these hobbies can be divided into several groups: learning things, doing things, making things and collecting things. Let’s provide some examples. (Slide 4)

Tom goes in for sports, he likes to play tennis. He goes to play tennis every day. Sport is very important part of his life. Many people go in for sports, they jogging, walking, swimming, skating, skiing, train themselves in clubs and different sections.
Physical education is an important subject at school. Pupils play volleyball, football, basketball. Tom has been playing tennis for 5 years. Tennis became very popular now. The boy takes part in different competitions.
To be in a good shape he's jogging every morning and does his morning exercises. Everyone should do all he can to stay healthy and choose the sport he is interested in.

Today we’ve learned a lot about types of hobbies and now we can talk about how we spend our free time. To revise everything we’ve got to know I suggest you the exercise called “Sinquain”
(Учням пропонується написати незвичайний вірш 1й рядок – це саме ключове поняття, 2й рядок – це два прикметники, що називають ознаки основного слова, 3й рядок – три дієслова, що характеризують дії основного поняття, 4йрядок – речення,яке несе якусь інформацію з основним словом, 5й рядок – синонім до основного поняття)(Slide 6)
